Album Review:

The song with the most surf credibility on this release is 'House on the Beach' (for lyrical content only). Other than an extended guitar break, there's certainly not a great deal of musical overlap with the genre.

Of the Astronauts' songs, the fuzzed-up instrumental 'Pyramid Stomp' is the most interesting. 'Snap It' is another near-adequate surf instrumental. 'Little Speedy Gonzales' could perhaps be classified as a hot rod tune - at least it's sure written that style. 'Rock the World' is performed in a faux-Elvis style circa 1963. Cindy Malone's 'Run Away From Him' is a good song but not surf-related.
