Album Review:
Following Competition Coupe, the Astronauts had a few more surf-type tracks in the vault. Much like the Bobby Fuller Four's KRLA King of the Wheels, the album is a mix between bona fide surf music and mid-sixties rockers.
The two instrumentals are fantastic examples of late surf tunes; 'Gouch' features the band's signature saturated chugging sound, and 'Quiet Village' could've easily fit on either of the two previous surf/hot rod albums. Though not beach-related, 'Little Lover' is the standout track of all the vocal numbers,
