Album Review:

Soundsville! was released in 1965 and incuded a few odd and mostly trivial surf/hot rod/motorcycle tracks.

Of the two Beachnuts tracks (which included pre-Velvet Underground Lou Reed), 'I've Got A Tiger In My Tank' is the pick, however, neither are essential. The Reed-penned 'Johnny Won't Surf No More' by Jeannie Larimore is somehow worse. 'Teardrops in the Sand' credited to the Hollywoods is a passable tragedy surf song that could've benefited from some background vocals harmonies.

Two years later Design Records would issue a very similar Out of Sight! compilation.
