Album Review:

In this rather late edition to the Surf music scene, on It Ain't Me Babe the Surfaris cover ‘California Girls’ and a few other contemporary hits through a reverb-drenched lens. Gary Usher, Chuck Girard, and Dick Burns join in as back-up on a few of these, but for the most part, are absent. This was the band’s final album, and with the exception of the surfboard on the cover, the group seems to be trying to be distancing their image from the sun-soaked beach scene.
