So yeah, this 1966 release is solely imbedded in sacharrine mellow folksy country music. The only track I'd even remotely consider adding to my hot rod playlist would be 'Top Five'; not because it's good, but purely as a pallette cleanser. Other listenable moments are the backing vocals on 'Pit Stop' and the light fuzztone on 'Stock Car Blues'. It's a shame, too, because some of these songs are well written, and if there had been an inkling of rock music, it might be recommendable.

As she stands, though, my advice is to skip this one - even if it's looking at you from the dollar bin...
